Gender Equality and Women Empowerment Programme


As gender advancement progressed, opposition was becoming louder, sparking the need for a step- forward effort to be adopted to offset the numerous challenges impeding women progress in playing a central role in all spectrum of development.

Pursuant to this development, the organization www.gcid.info has included in its policy document a gender equality and women empowerment programme to increase efforts in empowering and increasing the resilience of women and girls within the Northern Savannah  Ecological Zone in the Republic of Ghana, which efforts has since gained considerable transparent track record and a solid institutional performance in reaching out to policy makers, cooperation agencies and organizations, the private sector and individuals, in this part of the world. Below are the interventions being implemented along with GCID core programmes:

  • Saving Lives at Birth Programme
  • Promotion of Women Empowerment and Rights ( POWER)
  • Global Action for Girls Education ( GAGE )

These projects are ongoing and we are inviting partners in this direction to join hands with us to turn the last shovel of earth over opposition to sex equality initiatives worldwide.
